The telecom industry continues to operate on a failing model: oversized BSS/OSS architectures, deployment timelines measured in years, relentless customization cycles, and suppliers who treat delays as standard practice. Operators now face pressure to extract value from 5G investments, accelerate MVNO rollouts, transform wholesale operations, and break free from legacy vendor dependencies—yet the infrastructure they rely on was designed to resist rapid change.

Totogi takes a fundamentally different approach, and this is not a typical BSS vendor position:

* Three live products, no vaporware: You'll demonstrate a serverless 5G Charging solution, a cloud-native Wholesale BSS system, and the Telco Ontology: an AI-driven knowledge graph enabling LLMs to interpret a customer's complete telco infrastructure. These are deployed, functional products. Not vaporware presentations.

* Weeks instead of years: Totogi operates as SaaS on AWS. You won't be justifying 18-month integration projects. You'll present solutions that deploy rapidly, with live validation.

* You drive the technical outcome: From discovery through demos, solution design, and RFP execution. You build the technical argument. This is not a support role. Not an auxiliary function.

* You compete directly with incumbents: Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia—armed with product advantages in architecture, deployment speed, and total cost that they cannot replicate.

This position centers on securing technical wins in complex sales cycles. You will conduct customized demonstrations, guide discovery engagements, architect solutions, and deliver precise RFP submissions across all three Totogi offerings. You must possess sufficient telco expertise to discuss charging logic, billing workflows, CRM structures, product catalogs, system integrations, 5G protocols, migration challenges, and rating intricacies credibly—while mapping those technical dimensions to measurable business outcomes in real time.

You will work at the intersection of product capability, sales strategy, and customer operations. Your deliverables must advance deal momentum, support accurate scoping, and convert to verifiable revenue. If you have deep experience in presales, solution architecture, or telecom modernization initiatives and are ready to represent a solution with genuine technical superiority over legacy platforms, this role warrants your attention.

What You Will Be Doing

* Running customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and technical capabilities of Totogi's product portfolio

* Conducting interviews with customer subject matter experts to uncover pain points, technical specifications, and validation criteria

* Building solution scopes for the Professional Services organization, aligning customer needs with Totogi's platform capabilities

* Producing RFP responses that demonstrate how Totogi's offerings satisfy the technical and business requirements outlined in formal procurement documents

What You Won’t Be Doing

* Carrying quota or closing commercial agreements with customers

* Producing templated Solution Scopes that ignore the unique context of each customer engagement

* Conducting sales enablement sessions or handling administrative overhead

Sales Engineer Key Responsibilities

* Securing technical wins that move deals forward across Totogi's three core product lines (Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform)

Basic Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles focused on telco BSS/OSS environments

* Demonstrated experience managing technical sales cycles for charging systems, billing platforms, BSS implementations, and lead-to-cash workflows

* Proven ability to deliver high-impact product demonstrations and present effectively to senior technical and executive audiences

* Hands-on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST)

* Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to support this global role, with the majority of customers and prospects located in APAC, and additional presence in EMEA and Americas

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
