The telecom industry continues to rely on outdated models: oversized BSS/OSS infrastructures, deployment cycles spanning years, excessive customization, and suppliers who normalize delays. Operators face pressure to capitalize on 5G, accelerate MVNO launches, upgrade wholesale operations, and break free from legacy dependencies—yet the platforms they use were designed to resist transformation.
Totogi operates on a fundamentally different model, and this is not a typical BSS vendor position:
* Three live products, no vaporware: You'll demonstrate a serverless 5G Charging system, a cloud-native Wholesale BSS solution, and the Telco Ontology—an AI-driven knowledge graph enabling LLMs to interpret a customer's full telco infrastructure. These are production systems, not concept decks.
* Deployment in weeks, not years: Totogi delivers SaaS on AWS. There's no need to justify 18-month rollouts. You'll present solutions that go live quickly and validate them in real time.
* You drive the technical sale: From discovery through demos, solution design, and RFP execution. You build the technical argument. This is not a support role or secondary function.
* You compete directly with legacy players: Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia—armed with architectural, speed, and cost advantages they cannot replicate.
This position centers on securing technical victories. You'll execute customized demonstrations, guide discovery sessions, architect solutions, and deliver precise RFP submissions across Totogi's three product lines. The role demands sufficient telecom expertise to discuss charging systems, billing logic, CRM architecture, product catalogs, integration protocols, 5G standards, migration challenges, and rate structures—while tying those technical elements directly to measurable business outcomes in the same dialogue.
You'll work at the intersection of product capability, sales execution, and customer needs. Your contributions must advance deals, support accurate scoping, and drive measurable revenue. What You Will Be Doing
* Delivering product demonstrations that showcase the functionality and user experience of Totogi's platforms
* Engaging with customer subject matter experts to surface technical challenges, business requirements, and validation criteria
* Building solution frameworks for the Professional Services organization by aligning customer needs with Totogi's product capabilities
* Producing RFP submissions that clearly define how Totogi's offerings satisfy the technical and business specifications within structured procurement workflows
What You Won’t Be Doing
* Executing sales transactions or closing commercial agreements with customers
* Producing boilerplate Solution Scopes that overlook the unique context of each customer engagement
* Conducting sales enablement sessions or performing routine administrative duties
Presales Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Securing technical approvals that progress sales opportunities across Totogi's three core products (Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform)
Basic Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles within the telecom BSS/OSS sector
* Proven track record managing technical sales processes for charging systems, billing platforms, BSS implementations, and lead-to-cash workflows
* Demonstrated ability to execute high-impact product demonstrations and communicate effectively with senior technical and executive audiences
* Hands-on experience writing code that integrates with APIs, including GraphQL and REST
* Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours to support a global customer base concentrated in APAC, with additional coverage in EMEA and the Americas

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
