The role
Identify risks and gaps across client sites
Deliver practical, implementable solutions
Work directly with business owners and teams
Turn compliance into something simple and usable
Support and implement systems through SiteSherpa
What we’re looking for
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in WHS consulting, advisory, or operational safety roles
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Experience implementing and maintaining WHS management systems aligned to ISO standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or ISO 9001
Demonstrated ability to move beyond audits and actively implement solutions within businesses
Experience working with high-risk industries or complex operational environments
Confident communicator who can influence at all levels, from site to executive
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
Tech-enabled. Confident using digital platforms, with exposure to AI tools considered a plus
Qualifications
Formal qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline (e.g. Cert IV, Diploma, or Degree)
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification (highly regarded)
ISO systems experience is essential, including implementation, auditing, or system management
Proven track record of delivering measurable safety outcomes, not just documentation
