About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a short-term contract role involving a small number of focused recording sessions. Your voice won't be cloned — you'll simply be helping AI systems learn to understand real, natural human speech.

* Sessions: 2–3 sessions of approximately 4 hours each

* Format: In-person professional recording studio (locally assigned in South Africa)

What You'll Do

* Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment

* Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings

* Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue — think natural conversation, not scripted performance

* Take light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech styles

* Bring your authentic South African accent to every session

Who You Are

* A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience

* Native or near-native South African English accent — authentic and natural

* Fluent in English with strong spoken communication skills

* Comfortable recording conversational and dialogue-based content

* Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction

* Currently based in South Africa

Nice to Have

* Acting or performance background

* Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or prior studio recording work

* Comfort with improvised or naturalistic speech styles
