About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for South African voice actors and voice-over artists to record natural conversational speech for leading AI research teams — helping train AI systems to better understand real, authentic human voices.

This is a paid contract role involving a small number of in-person studio recording sessions. Your accent, your delivery, and your authenticity are exactly what this project needs.

* Note: This project does not involve voice cloning

What You'll Do

* Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment

* Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings

* Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech — the goal is natural, not scripted

* Follow light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture authentic variety

* Bring your genuine South African English accent to every session

Who You Are

* A voice actor or voice-over artist with hands-on recording experience

* A native or near-native South African English speaker — your accent is authentic and natural

* Currently based in South Africa

* Comfortable performing natural dialogue and unscripted-sounding conversation

* Professional, reliable, and receptive to light creative direction

* Fluent in English at a working level for communication and direction

Nice to Have

* Background in acting, performance, or theatre

* Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or professional studio recording

* Comfort with both solo monologue and conversational dialogue formats
