About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for professional German-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding voice, fluency in German, and a professional-grade recording setup.

Important: This work is AI-related but does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do

* Record high-quality German voice samples based on provided scripts and prompts

* Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness

* Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve AI-generated speech quality

* Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and authentic delivery

* Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule, from your own studio

Who You Are

* Native or near-native fluency in German with a strong, clear speaking voice

* Professional background in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields

* Access to a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment

* Able to deliver expressive, nuanced performances across a variety of scripts and tones

* Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, pacing, clarity, and vocal quality

* No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

* Experience working with audio production software or DAWs

* Familiarity with AI tools or speech evaluation workflows

* Ability to adapt vocal style across different registers — from conversational to formal

* Knowledge of regional German dialect variation — Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise

* Background in broadcast, theatre, e-learning, or commercial voice work
