About the Company

CNTXT AI is looking for a Robotics Engineer specializing in Vision-Language-Action (VLA) systems to build the next generation of intelligent, embodied AI agents. This role focuses on integrating vision, language models, and action policies to enable robots and autonomous systems to understand, reason, and interact with the physical world. You will work on cutting-edge applications at the intersection of robotics, multimodal AI, and agent-based systems. The ideal candidate is both research-oriented and execution-driven, with experience in building real-world or simulated robotic systems powered by AI.

About the Role

This role focuses on integrating vision, language models, and action policies to enable robots and autonomous systems to understand, reason, and interact with the physical world.

Responsibilities

VLA System Design & Development

* Design and implement Vision-Language-Action (VLA) architectures.

* Integrate:

* Computer vision models (perception)

* Language models / LLMs (reasoning & planning)

* Control policies (actions)

* Build systems that enable robots to interpret instructions and execute complex tasks.

Robotics Integration

* Develop and deploy solutions using:

* ROS / ROS2

* Simulation tools (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, etc.)

* Integrate AI models with robot hardware or digital environments.

* Optimize systems for real-time performance and reliability.

Multimodal AI & Learning

* Train and fine-tune multimodal models (vision + language + action).

* Apply techniques such as:

* Reinforcement Learning (RL)

* Imitation Learning

* Behavior Cloning

* Work with datasets for robot perception and action learning.

Experimentation & Prototyping

* Rapidly prototype and test new approaches to embodied AI.

* Run experiments in simulation and real-world environments.

* Iterate based on performance, feedback, and research insights.

Research & Innovation

* Stay up to date with the latest developments in:

* Embodied AI

* Robotics

* Multimodal foundation models

* Contribute to internal research and potential publications.

Collaboration

* Work closely with:

* AI researchers

* Product teams

* Engineers building AI applications

* Contribute to the development of CNTXT’s AI platform and future products.

Qualifications

* 3–7+ years of experience in robotics, AI/ML, or related fields.

* Strong programming skills in:

* Python

* C++ (preferred for robotics)

* Experience with:

* ROS / ROS2

* Robotics simulation environments

* Solid understanding of:

* Computer vision

* Machine learning / deep learning

* Robot control systems

Required Skills

* Experience working with Vision-Language-Action (VLA) or embodied AI systems.

* Familiarity with:

* LLMs and multimodal models

* Frameworks like PyTorch / TensorFlow

* Experience with:

* Reinforcement learning or imitation learning

* Exposure to robot hardware systems or real-world deployments.

* Background in research or applied AI innovation.
