Job:

The candidate should have strong conceptualization skills and the ability to process data and lead the development and application of HCLTech’s Vision AI initiatives, have deep expertise in Vision systems for a variety of industries. The principal should also be competent to work with internal stakeholders, partners and clients proactively, as well as support responses to RFIs and RFPs, clearly exhibiting the ability to think out-of-the-box and build solution framework and architectural approach that stands well and uniquely differentiated.

· Designing, developing, and implementing Vision AI models for quality inspection, safety, security, surveillance and asset monitoring use cases

· Creating AI algorithms to help solve business problems related to image and video analysis across multiple industries

· Building AI systems and infrastructure that can scale and manage large datasets.

· Working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

· Proven experience in designing and implementing generative vision AI models

· Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

· Establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for vision model development, validation, and implementation.

· Researching and implementing appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools.

· Defining machine learning applications according to requirements.

· Selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods.

· Leading machine learning tests and experiments and interpreting the results.

· Participate in adjusting and improving existing models.

· Translating complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designs.

· Expertise in application of autonomous computer vision development with agentic AI systems

Skills

· Strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and data science.

· Proven experience as an AI/Gen AI Architect or similar role.

· Knowledge of real-time video processing and edge computing.

· Experience with deploying computer vision solutions in production environments.

· Knowledge of camera technology, edge computing and Video Management Systems

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java.

· Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

· Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

· Familiarity with AWS , GCP , Azure , NVIDIA services for Vision

· Experience with VLM’s and platforms like NVIDIA Metropolis & Video search and summarization agents like NVIDIA VSS

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $200000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $220000 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
