Role Description

Playcraft Ventures is offering a remote, unpaid internship for a Venture Capital Analyst. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in early-stage investing at the intersection of interactive entertainment and emerging technologies. As a VC Analyst, you will be actively involved in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market and financial research, identifying trends across target industries, and preparing investment memos. You will also engage directly with founders and support due diligence, portfolio tracking, and strategic initiatives. This role provides exposure to real deal flow, founder interactions, and the venture investment process, with close collaboration across both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

* Analytical skills, including financial modeling, market research, and valuation analysis

* Understanding of venture capital processes, startup ecosystem trends, and investment strategies

* Strong communication and presentation skills, including creating detailed, professional reports and memos

* Experience with data analysis tools and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or other analytical software

* Prior experience in venture capital, startups, technology, consulting, or investment banking is a plus

* Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail

* Passion for emerging technologies and industries such as interactive entertainment, creator tools, or AI-driven solutions

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (junior, senior, or graduate level preferred)
