UX / UI Engineer

We are looking for a UX/UI Engineer with a strong passion for design and UX. You won’t just be handed Figma files to build; you will be the driving force behind how our product looks and feels. You will design, build and ship frontend features end-to-end, work closely with the founders and help define how restaurants compete in the age of AI.

You’ll:

* Own the Frontend & UI/UX: Take the lead on designing and building our web app (React, TypeScript, Tailwind).

* Design & Prototype: Create intuitive, user friendly interfaces and flows. You don’t need to be a pixel perfect graphic designer, but you need a great eye for UX and the ability to mock up and iterate on designs.

* Bridge the Gap: Join our tech team to translate complex data and AI outputs into simple, beautiful experiences for restaurant owners.

* Establish Best Practices: Help shape and scale our frontend engineering practices, design system and code quality.

* Move Fast: Work in tight loops with customers, turning insights into shipped solutions.

Who You Are

* 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping frontend products, primarily using React.

* Design-minded: You care deeply about the user experience, interaction design and how things look. You love making products feel “snappy” and intuitive.

* Self-starter: You thrive in an environment where you are the go-to expert for frontend and design within the tech team.

* Product-focused: You care about the why, not just the how. You want to solve real problems for our users.

* Language: You speak Dutch and are fluent in English.

Bonus points if you have:

* Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems (we currently use shadcn/ui and Tailwind).

* Experience with data visualization on the frontend (building analytics dashboards, charts, etc.).

* Familiarity working alongside FastAPI backends.

* An interest in the hospitality industry or AI products.
