* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3 years of experience with research methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiries, 1:1 interviews, and unmoderated research studies).
* Experience with research design (e.g., in-depth interviews, concept research, usability studies, and surveys).
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree or PhD(in progress or completed) in Anthropology, Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, Cognitive Psychology, or other field.
* Experience leveraging a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis techniques in highly disciplinary environments.
* Experience working with agencies or directing other research groups to craft and direct field research.
* Experience conducting global market research.
* Experience using AI to benefit humanity, including communities currently neglected by technology.
* Ability to create powerful research outputs used to inspire and influence stakeholders (e.g., multimedia stories, video editing).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
* Partner closely with multidisciplinary team members across the exploration lifecycle within the Inception team.
* Design, lead and execute research studies, along with or in collaboration with other UX researchers.
* Stay on the vanguard of AI products through daily tool use, experimentation, and exploration. Cultivate an informed POV on how technical capabilities will line up with user needs.
* Continue to maintain and informed opinions about the state of AI technology in the relevant exploration space.
* Provide actionable insights that directly influence product strategy.
