Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Engineer to support the development of advanced navigation capabilities for aerospace systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of navigation solutions with a focus on rigorous testing. The engineer will focus on integrating navigation sensors, developing performance analysis tools, and supporting system validation across lab and flight environments. While working on cutting-edge platforms with a tech-savvy collaborative team, this position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

* Support the development of positioning, navigation, and timing capabilities for aircraft systems.

* Assist in integrating navigation sensors and subsystems into avionics platforms.

* Contribute to navigation solutions capable of operating in degraded or contested signal environments.

* Develop and maintain tools used for navigation data collection and analysis.

* Evaluate system performance through data-driven analysis and testing results.

* Support engineering teams in identifying improvements to navigation accuracy and reliability.

* Work closely with avionics, autonomy software, and embedded systems teams.

* Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure successful system integration.

* Document testing procedures, results, and engineering findings to support program execution.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience working with navigation systems, sensors, or avionics integration in embedded or airborne environments.

* Familiarity with real-time software environments and engineering data analysis workflows.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in test-driven development environments.

* Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Experience

* Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms and RF front-end systems.

* Experience integrating navigation systems within flight control ecosystems.

* Knowledge of avionics communication interfaces, such as MAVLink.

* Understanding of antenna integration and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI).
