Full Description

We're building live, spatial, real-time experiences, the kind that blend the physical and digital in ways most teams never get to attempt. We're looking for a Senior Unity Developer who can take that ambition and turn it into real, performant, production-ready builds.

What we're looking for, and why

We need someone who's spent years deep in Unity, who knows the engine well enough to make the right call on architecture and performance without second-guessing it, and who can take a project from a blank scene to something live and production-ready. As our real-time and spatial products grow, we need someone who can own that build end to end.

What you'll be working on

• Setting strategy and development pipelines for new builds

• Creating high-level designs and planning out functionality before writing a line of code

• Designing and building clean, well-structured Unity code

• Finding and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks

• Testing functionality and interaction design thoroughly before anything ships

• Holding builds to a high technical and visual standard

• Building and shipping patches and updates

• Working closely with engineers, architects, and the product owner to plan short and long-term work

• Reviewing implementations to make sure they match coding guidelines and architecture

What makes this role different

Engineering here is flat: no layers between you and the decision, no waiting on a chain of approvals to ship something good. You'll work in person in Abu Dhabi, alongside a small, genuinely international team, building real-time experiences that don't have an existing playbook to follow. What you build will be felt immediately, by real users, on real products.

Skills we need

• At least 6 years of experience as a Unity developer

• In-depth knowledge of Unity and its best practices (prefabs, asset bundles, organized scene hierarchy)

• Extensive experience building for mobile

• Experience with memory and space optimization

• Strong scripting, animation, session management, and texture knowledge

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Clear, direct communication

Nice to have: experience with a AAA title, experience taking a project from scratch all the way to production, familiarity with Git.

What we're not looking for

This isn't a role for someone who wants a spec handed to them and nothing more, or who'd rather manage the work than build it. If you need a lot of process and structure to do your best work, or you're looking for a remote 9-to-5, this probably isn't the fit.
