Job Overview
Seeking a Risk Management Specialist to support integrity risk, trust & safety, and compliance initiatives across digital and operational platforms. This role focuses on risk assessments, regulatory alignment, governance frameworks, and cross‑functional collaboration to manage and mitigate material risks.
This is a remote, U.S.-based contract opportunity supporting high‑visibility initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and operationalize a comprehensive integrity risk management framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
* Lead event‑driven and regulatory risk assessments in response to business changes, incidents, or emerging risks
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and leadership to drive risk‑based decision making
* Develop and track risk management KPIs to measure program effectiveness
* Manage multiple workstreams including planning, coordination, status tracking, and reporting, including executive‑level or board‑level reporting
* Support regulatory responses, audits, and transparency reporting
* Create and maintain documentation such as playbooks, SOPs, and governance frameworks
* Identify opportunities for process optimization, including automation and AI‑enabled solutions
* Uphold professional standards and contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
* 3–5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, trust & safety, governance, or operational risk
* Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and control design
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience working across functions
* Proficiency with risk management tools, reporting, and documentation
Preferred Experience
* Experience supporting online platforms, marketplaces, or social media environments
* Background in trust & safety, content moderation, or regulatory compliance
* Exposure to audits, regulatory inquiries, or transparency reports
* Program management experience across multiple concurrent initiatives
