Summer Internship — AI Soccer Analyst / Trainer

(Current or Former D1 Soccer Athletes)

LevelUp.soccer is the AI-powered training platform for youth players ages 8–16. Coaches and players upload practice clips and full matches, and our AI returns player-by-player breakdowns, drill recommendations, and 4-week development plans.

We're looking for a college-level athlete who lives the game and wants to help us build the AI coach that thousands of kids train with every week.

What you'll do

⚽ Review AI-flagged moments from real youth match footage and make our event detection sharper

⚽ Help author the prompts and rubrics our six specialist AI coaches use

⚽ Build periodized 4-week training plans tied to position and skill gaps

⚽ Film yourself doing drills + technique demos that ship inside our Training Lab

⚽ Create short-form social content (and grow your own brand at the same time)

⚽ Occasionally hop on a clip review with a player or club

Who we're looking for

⚽ Current or former NCAA Division I soccer athlete (any position)

⚽ Sharp eye for the game — you can articulate what good and bad reps look like

⚽ Comfortable on a laptop, curious about AI, no coding required

⚽ Reliable, communicative, excited to help kids 8–16 fall in love with training

⚽ Fully remote — work from anywhere

⚽ Flexible, part-time around your training and class schedule

⚽ Summer internship with the option to continue into the school year

⚽ Unpaid internship — but you'll earn commission on every paid referral you bring in (players, parents, or clubs)

⚽ Personal certification & referral letter from the founder at completion, documenting your work and achievements — something real you can take to coaching jobs, grad school, or your next role in soccer or tech
