The Role

This is a Staff-level design position with significant scope and autonomy. You will lead end-to-end design across a complex, AI-powered SaaS product, translating sophisticated backend capabilities into intuitive user experiences. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will define the design strategy for agent-driven workflows, own the product design lifecycle from discovery through to high-fidelity execution, and play a key role in shaping how users interact with non-deterministic AI outputs.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end design from discovery and user research through wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity UI delivery

* Define and drive design strategy for AI-powered testing systems, aligning UX with technical capabilities and business goals

* Design agent-driven workflows that blend conversational interaction with guided UI elements, maintaining user context and control throughout

* Partner with Product and Engineering to improve core PLG metrics including activation, time-to-first-test and trial-to-expansion journeys

* Translate complex, non-deterministic AI workflows into simplified, intuitive user journeys

* Establish design metrics to measure the impact of design interventions on user efficiency and product outcomes

* Prioritise design initiatives based on user impact and technical constraints across the product suite

What You Will Need

Essential:

* 10+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking on complex SaaS or developer tool products

* Experience designing workflow-heavy AI, QA or test automation products

* Experience with product-led growth, including onboarding, activation and conversion optimisation

* High craft bar across UX and UI, with strong Figma, prototyping and design systems experience

* Strong first-principles problem-solving ability with a track record of simplifying complex technical concepts for users

* Based in the US with the right to work

Desirable:

* Experience designing for enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or Workday

* Familiarity with AI/ML interaction patterns and edge case handling
