Staff Generative AI Scientist

Accountabilities

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that address healthcare operational and analytical challenges while contributing to enterprise AI innovation and platform development.

* Collaborate with research, operations, and product stakeholders to identify and evaluate AI-driven business opportunities

* Conduct exploratory data analysis and validate machine learning hypotheses using large-scale healthcare datasets

* Develop, train, benchmark, and optimize generative AI and machine learning models for production deployment

* Build end-to-end AI solutions, including data pipelines, model integration, monitoring, and user-facing applications

* Deploy and maintain production-grade machine learning systems in cloud environments

* Document methodologies, experiments, and model results to support collaboration and reproducibility

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal machine learning platforms and AI infrastructure

* Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, design discussions, and collaborative research efforts across teams

* Support operational monitoring and ongoing performance optimization of deployed AI models

Requirements

This role requires advanced expertise in machine learning, generative AI, cloud-based deployment, and large-scale data engineering, along with strong collaboration and communication capabilities.

* Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or another quantitative discipline

* 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning engineering

* Strong expertise in generative AI, NLP, transformers, LLM fine-tuning, benchmarking, and deployment workflows

* Experience working with tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace, LangChain, OpenAI, Llama, Mistral, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, pandas, scikit-learn, and NLTK

* Proven experience deploying production-grade AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP

* Hands-on experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark

* Strong understanding of vector databases, GPU computing, and scalable AI infrastructure

* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Strong collaboration, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent execution skills

* Passion for innovation, experimentation, and delivering measurable business impact through AI
