Role Overview

We are seeking a bold, execution-focused Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of Alpha IQ — our proprietary AI engine designed to score deals, match investors with founders, automate diligence workflows, and generate predictive insights. This role combines deep AI/ML engineering expertise with startup execution ownership. You will design, build, and deploy production-ready AI systems that directly power the Alpha Hub platform. You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to translate business requirements into intelligent systems that redefine private market infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities 

Alpha IQ Development 

* Lead the end-to-end development of Alpha IQ’s AI/ML features and MVP. 

* Coordinate Agile sprint execution and prioritize AI tasks within a small, cross-functional team.

* Define technical architecture for scalable AI deployment. 

AI / ML Engineering  

* Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models for: 

* Deal scoring 

* Risk analysis 

* Predictive performance modeling 

* Confidence scoring 

* Train and deploy models that evaluate data transparency, financial health, and risk profiles with high precision. 

Investor–Founder Matching 

* Develop advanced matching algorithms that intelligently connect issuers and allocators across VC, PE, and M&A ecosystems. 

* Implement AI-driven matchmaking logic aligned with investment criteria and behavioral signals. 

Copilot & Intelligence Tools 

* Build AI “copilot” features including: 

* Real-time alerts 

* Deal recommendations 

* Automated investment summaries 

* Market sentiment dashboards 

* Predictive trend insights 

* Deliver data-backed decision-support tools for platform users. 

Pipeline Automation & Smart Workflows 

* Automate dealflow lifecycle from sourcing to execution. 

* Develop AI-driven prioritization engines and recommendation systems. 

* Support integration of blockchain-based smart contract logic for secure deal execution. 

Infrastructure & Integration  

* Ensure backend data infrastructure is AI-ready and scalable. 

* Oversee data pipelines, model validation, and performance testing. 

* Integrate third-party AI services (OpenAI, LLM APIs) alongside proprietary models. 

* Deploy models into production environments (cloud-based infrastructure). 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

* Partner with frontend engineers and product leads to translate product requirements into AI features. 

* Communicate complex ML concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 

* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical culture. 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise 

* 5+ years building production-grade AI/ML systems. 

* Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). 

* Experience designing, training, and deploying scalable models (NLP, predictive analytics, deep learning). 

* Hands-on experience with large language models (OpenAI/GPT, transformer architectures) is a plus. 

Infrastructure & Data 

* Experience with ETL pipelines, database systems, and big data processing. 

* Cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure). 

* Strong understanding of model monitoring, validation, and performance optimization. 

* Domain Experience (Preferred) 

* Background in fintech, financial services, or investment platforms. 

* Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, M&A workflows, or CRM automation. 

* Exposure to blockchain or distributed ledger technologies is a plus.

* Proven ability to lead technical projects in startup environments.
