Role Overview:

A Buyer Lead - PR to PO manages the end-to-end procure-to-pay transactional workflow, converting internal purchase requisitions (PR) into legally binding purchase orders (PO) while leading team operations and enforcing compliance.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• PR to PO Processing: Review, validate, and convert internal Purchase Requisitions into accurate Purchase Orders.

• RFQ & Sourcing Support: Float Requests for Quotation (RFQ), compare vendor bids, and execute spot negotiations.

• Order Tracking & Expediting: Monitor open orders, follow up on deliveries, and handle order amendments or exceptions.

• Team Leadership & Quality: Mentor junior buyers, conduct process training, and maintain high PO data quality standards.

• SLA & Reporting: Deliver regular procurement metrics, track operational KPIs, and manage backlog control.

Key Skills and knowledge:

• Experience: 3 to 6 years in procurement operations, sourcing, or supply chain shared services.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Finance.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Coupa, alongside advanced Excel.

• Core Competencies: Strong negotiation abilities, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.
