About the Role:

We are looking for a Solutions Designer who can bridge the gap between FigureFlow’s technology and the real-world financial operations of our customers.

This is not a generic pre-sales or account management role.

We need someone who has lived inside finance departments, understands the complexity of:

* Financial close cycles

* Audit processes

* Management reporting

* Statutory compliance

—and can confidently speak with CFOs, Financial Controllers, and Finance Managers about how FigureFlow can transform their work.

You will:

* Turn prospect pain points into concrete solution designs

* Own the technical onboarding of new customers

* Channel real-world insights back into the product team

Your Big Four audit background, ACCA qualification, and experience as a Financial Controller are not just nice-to-haves — they are fundamental to why this role works.

You will understand what finance teams need because you have been one of them.

What You Will Do:

Pre-Sales & Solution Design:

* Lead discovery conversations with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Managers to map their reporting workflows, data environments, and compliance requirements.

* Design tailored solution proposals showing how FigureFlow addresses each prospect’s financial operations and pain points.

* Deliver product demonstrations grounded in the prospect’s real financial context, not generic use cases.

* Develop proof-of-concept configurations and phased implementation plans to support sales conversations.

* Collaborate with the sales team on proposals and commercial discussions with finance-led buyers.

Customer Onboarding & Implementation:

* Own the end-to-end technical onboarding journey for new customers — from data mapping and configuration to the first live report.

* Work directly with customer finance teams to configure FigureFlow to their chart of accounts, reporting structures, and statutory requirements.

* Design and document implementation playbooks for different customer profiles, including SMEs and growth-stage companies.

* Ensure every customer achieves meaningful outcomes on the platform quickly and confidently.

Product Feedback & Market Insight:

* Serve as the voice of the customer in internal product discussions.

* Translate field experience into clear, prioritized product feedback.

* Document recurring customer challenges, edge cases, and unmet needs to inform the product roadmap.

* Partner with product and engineering teams to validate new features against real-world finance workflows.

* Build solution templates, best-practice guides, and onboarding resources tailored to the Nigerian market.

Requirements:

The following are mandatory. Applications without these will not be considered.

✓ ACCA — fully qualified and chartered

✓ Minimum 2 years at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) in audit or assurance

✓ Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior financial control role

✓ Deep working knowledge of:

* IFRS

* Nigerian tax law

* FIRS/LIRS compliance

* Statutory reporting requirements

✓ Strong command of:

* Financial close processes

* Management reporting

* Internal controls

Additional Advantages:

★ Prior exposure to pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer advisory roles

★ Experience working with or implementing:

* ERP systems

★ Experience with data integration, APIs, BI, or analytics tools
