The Solutions Architect role at Impetus is critical as we design cutting-edge data, analytics, and GenAI solutions for leading Healthcare & Life Sciences enterprises, including providers, payers, pharma, biotech, and medical device organisations.
Our Solutions Architects drive customer success by aligning clinical, regulatory, research, and commercial business goals with IT services, software products, platforms, and infrastructure. They are creative problem solvers who collaborate closely with clients to understand complex healthcare challenges and architect solutions that address them.
The Skills You’ll Need
• Experience in architecture, design, and consulting services focused on enterprise healthcare and life sciences solutions, including data analytics platforms, lakehouses, data engineering, data processing, data warehousing, ETL, Hadoop, and Big Data
• Experience designing healthcare data governance, data management, master data management (MDM), and data security solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, and FDA guidelines
• Experience working with healthcare data standards and formats such as HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, claims data, EHR/EMR, clinical trial, genomics, and real-world data (RWD)
• Experience on at least one of the three major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP, preferably in regulated healthcare environments
• Knowledge of GenAI technologies in Healthcare & Life Sciences, including LLMs, generative models, and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch) applied to clinical decision support, medical summarisation, pharmacovigilance, and research acceleration
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML and GenAI services such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, Google AI Platform, Databricks GenAI/BI, Snowflake GenAI, and their use in healthcare workloads
• Understanding of healthcare market trends, payer–provider dynamics, pharma R&D transformation, and competitive intelligence
• Experience in proposal management (RFP/RFI/RFQ) for healthcare and life sciences clients

Roles & Responsibilities
At Impetus, you will operate at the intersection of healthcare business strategy and engineering, engaging with engineers, product managers, sales teams, and C-level executives—internally and on the client side—to create a shared understanding of healthcare objectives and how proposed solutions will achieve them.
Your ability to bridge clinical, regulatory, and technical decision-making ensures that our solutions not only solve current challenges but also drive better patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and innovation.
• Work closely with healthcare and life sciences customers to understand business, clinical, and research needs, translating them into actionable data and AI solutions
• Lead onsite and virtual workshops with customers to design and develop healthcare-specific prototypes and reference architectures in collaboration with engineering teams
• Develop end-to-end solutions, including architecture, high-level design, statements of work, service design, and bills of materials, tailored to healthcare use cases
• Present Impetus’s healthcare and life sciences capabilities, products, and GenAI offerings to prospects and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor
• Develop healthcare-focused use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, customers, and delivery teams
• Lead technical responses to RFI/RFPs for healthcare and life sciences clients
• Create thought leadership by presenting at healthcare conferences, industry summits, user groups, and through whitepapers and community engagement
• Stay abreast of healthcare technology trends, GenAI advancements, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies, contributing to Impetus’s Healthcare GenAI vision
• Provide structured knowledge transfer to delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover from presales to implementation
