The Role

• Collaborate with a dedicated team of architects to design robust software solutions for financial products

• Utilize hands-on software development experience, particularly in Java, to drive product and platform evolution

• Contribute to the continuous development of the IT strategy and ensure strategic business/IT alignment

• Proactively identify innovation opportunities and introduce suitable solutions and new technologies

• Partner with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient solutions

• Act as a mentor and guide for agile, self-organizing product development teams, sharing knowledge and empowering them

What You'll Need

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software development, especially with Java (e.g., Spring Boot, Microservices)

• Experience with a broad range of enterprise systems, including programming languages (Java, JavaScript), databases, APIs (e.g., REST), Kubernetes, Cloud technologies, and AI

• A passion for new technologies and digital industry innovations, with an eye towards infrastructure, deployment, and operations

• Strong collaboration skills, actively contributing ideas and supporting others to achieve common goals

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, with the ability to inspire others
