Job Title: Solution Architect – Global Connectivity Infrastructure (Low Latency)

We are partnered with an elite trading firm expanding its US connectivity footprint and is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Infrastructure team.

This is a high-impact role responsible for designing, acquiring, and optimizing ultra-low latency, high-capacity networks, including microwave and fiber solutions, that underpin the firm’s global trading systems.

As part of the infrastructure organization, the Solution Engineer will help define the end-to-end connectivity strategy that links trading platforms across the US and internationally—driving measurable gains in latency, reliability, and network efficiency.

Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and optimise network connectivity supporting ultra-low latency trading across fibre and microwave links

* Evaluate and integrate next-generation optical, RF, and transport technologies to enhance network performance

* Partner with carriers, exchange colocation providers, and technology vendors to develop high-performance connectivity solutions

* Oversee technical integration, including capacity planning, deployment, and performance tuning

* Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver cohesive, high-availability infrastructure across regions

Requirements

* Proven experience in design and engineering project delivery

* Strong understanding of microwave, RF, optical, and telecommunication technologies

* Demonstrated success in vendor management and commercial negotiations

* Ability to balance high-level network architecture with hands-on technical execution

* Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on performance excellence and innovation
