Job Description
Role Overview
The Solution Consultant Intern works embedded within Uniphore's Delivery organization, supporting the end-to-end delivery of BAIC solutions across the customer lifecycle. This internship is designed to give high-potential individuals hands-on exposure to enterprise solution consulting, delivery execution, and customer engagement in a structured, mentored environment.
The intern will work closely with Senior Solution Consultants (SCs), Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), and Delivery Leads to understand how complex business problems are translated into deployable, scalable solutions — and to actively contribute to that process under guided supervision.
This is a learning-first role. The intern is not expected to own outcomes independently, but is expected to bring curiosity, structure, and genuine effort to every task.
Core Responsibilities
* Support Solution Discovery & Shaping
Under the guidance of a Senior SC, the intern will participate in customer discovery sessions and help document findings.
* Shadow and assist in operational discovery sessions with customers
* Help capture notes, workflow diagrams, and use case documentation
* Research customer industry, processes, and relevant BAIC solution patterns
* Draft preliminary use case summaries for review by the SC lead
* Assist in SOW & Delivery Documentation
The intern will support the authoring and maintenance of delivery documentation, gaining exposure to how structured commitments are crafted and managed.
* Help prepare and organize SOW drafts under SC supervision
* Maintain documentation of assumptions, dependencies, and scope decisions
* Track open items and follow up on inputs required from internal or client teams
* Support version control and change log maintenance for key delivery artifacts
* Contribute to Delivery Execution Support
During active delivery engagements, the intern will assist the delivery team with day-to-day coordination and structured problem-solving.
* Attend delivery standups, workshops, and client calls (as observer or note-taker)
* Help prepare agendas, meeting summaries, and action item trackers
* Assist in preparing status updates and internal delivery reports
* Flag blockers or ambiguities to the SC lead for resolution
* Research, Analysis & Internal Contribution
A portion of the internship will be dedicated to internal knowledge-building work that contributes to Delivery team assets.
* Research competitor approaches, industry benchmarks, or relevant technology patterns as assigned
* Help document delivery learnings, patterns, and reusable templates
* Contribute to internal playbooks or reference materials under SC guidance
* Participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute observations
What You Will Learn

* The mechanics of Statements of Work, delivery milestones, and acceptance criteria
* How cross-functional teams (Sales, Delivery, CS, Engineering) collaborate in practice

* How to communicate with senior stakeholders and document decisions clearly
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a structured, curious, and proactive individual who can operate professionally in a fast-paced delivery environment. You do not need prior consulting experience — but you must be eager to learn and willing to take initiative.
Required
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Management, or a related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to organize and present information clearly (slide decks, structured notes, summaries)
* High attention to detail and ownership over assigned tasks
* Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
* Proficiency in standard productivity tools (MS Office / Google Workspace)
Nice to Have
* Exposure to SaaS, B2B technology, or enterprise software concepts
* Familiarity with project management or delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
* Experience drafting professional documents or business proposals
* Interest in AI, conversational AI, or enterprise automation
Internship Structure
Month 1 — Onboarding & Observation
* Ramp up on Uniphore's BAIC platform, products, and delivery methodology
* Shadow senior SCs and FDEs across active engagements
* Begin contributing to documentation and research tasks
Month 2 — Active Contribution
* Take ownership of specific documentation, tracking, and support tasks
* Participate actively in delivery team meetings and workshops
* Begin drafting deliverables (use case summaries, agendas, status updates) for SC review
Month 3 — Independent Contribution & Wrap-Up
* Independently manage assigned workstreams with periodic SC check-ins
* Present key learnings or a structured project summary to the delivery team
* Receive structured feedback and a performance review
* Discuss potential extension or full-time opportunities if applicable
Note: This role is not a Sales, Marketing, or pure engineering internship. It sits squarely within the Delivery organization and requires genuine interest in solution design, structured communication, and customer-facing work
Hiring Range
$45 - $68 - for Primary Location of USA - CA - Palo Alto
The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
