We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Informatica cloud services and SaaS applications to lead the migration of our on-premises Informatica platform to a cloud-based architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of Informatica's SaaS offerings, data integration, and cloud solutions, as well as a proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures. This is a hands-on, strategic position that combines technical leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

* Define the target architecture for migrating on-premises Informatica solutions to Informatica SaaS (Intelligent Cloud Services)

* Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, roadmap, and detailed technical plan

* Ensure that the end-to-end architecture meets business, technical, security, and compliance requirements

* Design scalable, efficient, and secure integration solutions using Informatica SaaS technologies

* Evaluate stakeholder requirements and recommend appropriate Informatica SaaS products (e.g., Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Cloud Data Integration, Data Governance)

* Collaborate with data governance and infrastructure teams to establish proper data management protocols

* Lead and oversee the migration of integrations, data pipelines, and workflows from on-premises Informatica platforms to SaaS

* Perform system analysis to identify interdependence and resolve any complexity or incompatibility issues during migration

* Optimize the use of Informatica's cloud capabilities to improve performance and reduce operating costs

* Provide guidance to developers, administrators, and other team members throughout the migration and platform adoption process

* Ensure proper documentation of solution designs, architectures, and migration steps

* Establish best practices for data integration, scalability, and support in the cloud environment

* Act as the main technical point of contact for stakeholders during the SaaS migration journey

* Work closely with business teams to understand future use cases and recommend ongoing improvements

* Partner with Informatica support and product teams to resolve technical challenges

* Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) projects to validate new design ideas

* Identify potential risks in the migration process and implement mitigation strategies

* Validate and test migrated systems to ensure continuity, compliance, and accuracy

Requirements

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

* 8+ years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on data integration and Informatica technologies

* Hands-on experience migrating to Informatica from on-prem to SaaS

* In-depth knowledge of Informatica SaaS solutions (e.g., Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration)

* Strong expertise in data migration, ETL processes, and cloud-native architecture

* Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

* Proficiency in APIs, RESTful services, and integrating Informatica with other SaaS platforms

* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

* Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams

* Informatica Cloud/Big Data/MDM certifications

* Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP certifications

* Familiarity with data governance and security best practices

* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
