Full Description

Position Name – Software Engineer – Workday

Type of hiring – Fulltime

Location – Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Support Workday HCM SaaS solution. Primary responsibilities include business process configuration support, building complex integrations, providing technical expertise on Workday Studio technologies, security, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, vendor management, and coordination with other teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations as required by the business

* Support Workday HCM configurations, EIBs, business processes

* Ability to analyze and communicate technical impacts of proposed or existing integration designs

* Create supporting integration documentation detailing system integration specifications, system processes and field mapping as needed

* Mentor resources in Workday

* Create and maintain relevant data structures, plans, and workflows within the Workday HCM system

* Document current and propose future process flows, provide configuration, and design options, gain HR sign off, test, and implement changes in a controlled and documented manner

* Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and working with the HR team to evaluate gaps

* Develop documentation and training supporting system or process changes

Experience and Skills:

* 3-5 Years of experience as a Workday Software Engineer

* Experience with Workday module configurations (Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Business Process, Performance, Recruiting, Learning)

* Proficient with Workday Custom Reports, EIB’s Connectors, Document Transformation and Workday Studio

* Exposure to Web Services, EDI, XML, XSLT, Java, or .Net integration technologies

* Expertise working on integration tools: EIB, Core Connector and Studio

* Experience working on XML, XSLT, Custom Reports and Custom Objects

* Functional Knowledge on Core HR, Compensation or ADP Payroll

* Ability to perform analysis and requirements gathering

* Strong knowledge of HR processes

* Strong communication Skills

* Experience with Agile Scrum
