Software Engineer I

2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer I role involves contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, including application and business logic development. This position plays a key part in advancing technology solutions that support healthcare operations, participating in Agile processes, generative AI research, and deployment activities. The role enhances application quality, monitoring, and automation to support the organization’s mission to improve healthcare delivery.

3. Responsibilities:

• Participate in full software application and business logic development cycles

• Engage in Agile/Scrum sessions and project planning

• Conduct code reviews and write code and automated tests

• Involve in generative AI-related research and development activities

• Assist with deployment, testing, and validation on QA environments

• Support deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and production support

• Contribute to application monitoring and process automation

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline required

• One year of practical software development experience preferred

• Familiarity with generative AI technology preferred

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform preferred (DevOps, CiCd, Azure monitoring)

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python

• Knowledge of databases and operating systems; working knowledge of MS SQL

• Experience with RESTful APIs and database programming (SQL Server queries, triggers, stored procedures)

• Familiarity with user interface programming (Javascript, HTML, Ajax, CSS)

• Ability to write well-structured, maintainable code in C# and SQL

• Quick learner of new technologies

• Exposure to CSS, Powershell, JavaScript

• Understanding of machine learning and generative AI concepts

• Ability to decompose complex problems into smaller components

• Experience with Github or other version control systems; familiarity with Ci/Cd concepts

• Familiarity with SRE concepts and application KPI tracking is a plus

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus

• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively

• Good communication skills in English

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The base salary range for this position is $33.42 to $41.78 per hour, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses

• Eligibility to participate in an annual corporate success sharing bonus based on organizational performance

• Final compensation determined by skills, education, experience, and internal pay equity considerations
