Software Engineer (Code Review & Quality) | $80/hr Remote

Position: Software Engineer (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $70 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough code reviews and evaluate pull requests to ensure high code quality standards.

* Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go codebases.

* Develop, review, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

* Implement and enforce security best practices and performance optimization techniques.

* Collaborate with engineering teams via GitHub, providing clear and constructive feedback.

* Document technical findings, review insights, and recommendations in a structured manner.

* Contribute to AI model training initiatives by improving code quality and development workflows.

Requirements

* Strong experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go development.

* Expertise in code reviews, pull request evaluation, and maintaining code quality standards.

* Proficiency with GitHub workflows and collaborative development practices.

* Strong debugging and issue identification skills across multiple codebases.

* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced engineering environment.
