Full Description

Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 2 years of experience in software development (e.g., C++, Python).

* 1 year of experience contributing to software design and architecture, and experience with testing and launching software features.

Preferred qualifications:

* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

* Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).

* Experience in large-scale data processing or distributed systems.

* Experience with generative models and their applications.

* Experience in designing, running, and analyzing large-scale online experiments (A/B tests).

* Familiarity with online advertising systems, creative optimization, personalization, or recommender systems.

In this role, you will build beautiful ad creatives for every user at every query to drive performance and user value.

Our team focuses on revolutionizing how ad creatives are composed, personalized, and optimized at scale using AI/ML techniques. We develop intelligent systems that enhance the relevance and performance of Ad creatives served to billions of YouTube users. Our work spans Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Generative AI, and large-scale serving platforms to power the next generation of Ad Creative experiences.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

* Develop novel machine learning models, incorporating techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI, from concept to production.

* Build and intergrate scalable ML pipelines and services, collaborating with infrastructure and serving teams to power creative optimization.

* Analyze performance metrics, deriving insights, and implement algorithmic improvements for creative selection, freshness, and exploration.
