The Role
* Develop and enhance laser marking software, focusing on new features, performance, and robust device connectivity.
* Implement and optimize functionalities related to operating logic, jobs/layouts, process flows, and data handling.
* Manage interfaces and hardware connections, including communication with laser sources, axis systems, peripherals, and industrial interfaces.
* Ensure quality and stability through debugging, error analysis, reproducibility, and clean releases.
* Contribute to architectural design and code quality, focusing on modular structures, reusable components, documentation, and testing.
* Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including electronics, construction, application/service, and project teams.
What You'll Need
* Several years of experience in software development, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
* Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, C++, and C.
* Good knowledge of at least one additional language like Python or Visual Basic.
* Experience with version control systems (Git), build/release processes, and unit/integration testing.
* A structured approach to work, with strong debugging skills and a commitment to reliable implementation, code quality, and documentation.
* Excellent German and good English language skills.
