About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you will lead the foundational design and technical direction of an AI-driven property management ecosystem.

You will be responsible for establishing a robust development framework and defining the architectural standards before full-scale construction begins.

This high‑impact role requires owning the technical blueprint to ensure scalability and performance for a complex, multi‑tenant platform, while also driving an AI‑assisted, spec‑first development model where structured engineering specs drive implementation through coding agents.

You will bridge the gap between initial concepts and a production-ready system, setting the technical stage for the engineering team’s future growth and success.

What You’ll Do

* Design and implement a scalable AI-driven development framework to support core platform functionality.

* Establish the foundational architecture for a full-stack property management system.

* Define technical standards and best practices for front-end and back-end integration.

* Architect database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance for complex residential data.

* Evaluate and integrate AI tools to automate concierge services and unified communication modules.

* Define and maintain structured technical specifications and guardrails to drive AI‑assisted implementation through coding agents across the platform.

* Oversee an AI‑assisted delivery workflow, including context management, spec quality, and validation of AI‑generated code in a production environment.

* Oversee the initial technical build-out to ensure alignment with the long‑term product vision.

* Translate complex business requirements into high-level technical specifications and roadmaps.

What You Bring

* Extensive experience in software architecture or lead engineering roles within cloud-based environments.

* Expert-level proficiency with Ruby on Rails for backend development.

* Deep professional experience with Next.js and React for building modern web interfaces.

* Proven track record of designing frameworks that incorporate AI or machine learning capabilities.

* Experience building and scaling B2B or B2C SaaS platforms.

* Strong experience with AI‑assisted or AI‑driven development workflows in production or near‑production environments (e.g. Claude Code, GSD, Superpower or similar coding agents).

* Comfort with structured, spec‑first development, including writing precise engineering specs and managing context for AI‑assisted implementation.

* Solid understanding of where AI coding agents break down and how to apply human architectural oversight to maintain quality and consistency.

Nice to Have

* Experience leading or mentoring teams using AI coding agents in large-scale software delivery.

* Familiarity with frameworks or tools such as Claude Code, GSD, Superpower, Spec Kit, or other AI‑assisted development platforms.

* Contributions to internal or open-source systems that optimize AI‑driven development workflows.

* Background in property management, real estate, fintech, or complex operational SaaS platforms.
