Full Description

Senior Solutions Architect

Overview

A Senior Solutions Architect is needed to serve as the technical authority for a multi-entity ERP transformation program. This role owns the end-to-end design, validation, and evolution of the integration layer connecting project management, field service, and financial systems across multiple operating companies.

The position bridges hands-on implementation and long-term platform strategy, ensuring integrations are scalable, reliable, and built to support growth over time. This individual will also provide broader architectural guidance to ensure each implementation is technically sound and avoids accumulating technical debt.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Own the integration architecture. Design, document, and maintain the integration layer across project management, field service, and financial platforms, including data flows, mappings, and error handling.

* Lead integration release management. Plan, test, and sequence new features for validation before production rollout.

* Support operating company implementations through integration design reviews, configuration validation, data mapping, phase gate reviews, and go-live activities.

* Act as the primary escalation point for production integration issues. Diagnose root causes and resolve complex problems under time constraints.

* Drive architecture standards including API governance, data modeling, security, monitoring, and performance across all operating companies.

* Partner with data migration and business analysis teams to ensure alignment between integration design and data movement.

* Build internal capability by developing architecture documentation, runbooks, and knowledge assets to support long-term platform ownership.

* Manage relationships with integration vendors and escalate issues effectively when needed.

* Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements / Qualifications

* 8+ years of enterprise integration and solutions architecture experience with hands-on design and implementation.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

* Primarily office-based with occasional travel for project meetings or go-live support.

* Professional work environment with hybrid flexibility.

Required Skills

* Deep expertise in enterprise integration platforms, including API design, flow development, error handling, and runtime management.

* Direct integration experience with project management, field service, and ERP/financial systems (construction-focused platforms preferred).

* Strong understanding of construction accounting and financial data flows such as job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition.

* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues in production environments.

* Experience managing integration releases across development, staging, and production environments with clear rollback strategies.

* Advanced analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts across stakeholders.

* Broad architectural perspective across API governance, data modeling, security, monitoring, and scalability.
