Role Overview
As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will be the engine of our process transformation work — conducting stakeholder interviews, documenting end-to-end business processes, analyzing operations for improvement opportunities, and developing business cases that drive executive decision-making.
This is a business process consulting role, not a technical architecture role. You need to understand how telecom operations work at a business level — customer journeys, operational handoffs, organizational structures, pain points — but you will not be designing system architectures, writing integration specs, or building software. We have dedicated telecom solution architects for that. Your job is to understand the business, find the opportunities, and build the case for change.
Engagements may be with clients in LATAM, Canada, and USA — both English and Spanish fluency is required.
What You Will Do
* Conduct structured discovery interviews with process owners, managers, and frontline staff. Sessions cover operational flows, pain points, team structures, day-to-day tasks, workarounds, and system usage
* Document and analyze business processes and quantify current operations from macro-process through sub-process to operational level — mapping systems, data flows, handoff points, organizational dependencies and cost
* Benchmark and score documented processes against telecom industry best practices and identify consolidation, elimination, and redesign opportunities
* Contribute to future-state process designs, financial impact models, and business cases for prioritized initiatives
* Support change management planning by assessing organizational readiness and identifying adoption risks
* Prepare materials for executive presentations and steering committee reviews
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years in management consulting, business process consulting, business analysis, or enterprise transformation, with hands-on client-facing delivery
* Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written)
* Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and documenting complex, multi-department business processes (process mapping, value stream mapping, or similar)
* General understanding of telecom operations and BSS/OSS domains — you should be familiar with concepts like order management, service provisioning, service assurance, billing, and field operations at a business level, even if you haven't held deep technical roles
* Familiarity with process improvement and change management frameworks. We value candidates with training in eTOM (TM Forum), Prosci ADKAR, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt+), ITIL, or BPM/BPMN
* Strong analytical skills: ability to synthesize interview data, quantify operational costs, and build structured business cases
* Clear communication: ability to translate complex operational findings into concise deliverables and executive-ready presentations
Nice to Have
* Experience working with LATAM telecom operators or large enterprises in Spanish-speaking markets
* Experience with post-merger or post-acquisition process harmonization
* Familiarity with TM Forum Frameworx, Open Digital Architecture, or telecom process reference models
* Understanding of where AI and automation can add value in business processes — you don't need to build solutions, but recognizing automation-ready processes is valuable
* Prosci certification, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent credentials
This Role Is Not
* A solution architect or technical architect role — we have dedicated telecom solution architects who handle system design, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud architecture
* A software development role — you will not be writing code, building automations, or configuring platforms
* A project manager role — you manage your own workstreams, but the Program Lead handles overall program governance
