Hexagon Robotics is a division of Hexagon – a global leader in precision measurement. The division develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and accelerate the transition from automation to autonomy. Our first humanoid, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and is already in pilots with five customers

As a Software Engineer for Simulation Tooling you directly work on the simulation software s used by our robotics and product development teams. You closely interact with experts in individual robotics domains (control, vision, manipulation, ...) to drive the simulation setup forward and accommodate their request

* entDevelop Python code on Linux and work with simulation engines such as Nvidia Omniverse / Isaac Sim or Gaz

* eboNavigate complex system integrations across multiple technology stacks to enhance the simulation platf

* ormWork independently and drive your roadmap through close engagement with simulation us

* ersEvaluate when to implement solutions yourself and when to collaborate with third-party vendors to improve the platf

* ormDeliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated test

* lsetDegree in Computer Science or a similar degree with focus on numerical computation or simulat

* ionsVery proficient in Python, 5+ years of professional experience in a technically complex Linux environment and understanding not only how to write Python code but also how to package and deploy it in cloud-based environme

* nts.Experience with game or simulation engines and related tooling (preferably Nvidia Omniverse / Isaac Sim, alternatively Unreal, Unity, Gazebo) and familiar with typical tasks when working with 3D assets (OpenUSD, URDF and mesh file manipulat
