Senior ML Engineer

They are building next-generation personalization at the intersection of web apps and modern AI. They aim to create seamless, magical experiences through services consumers already love.

About the Role

Join the core team as a foundational Senior Applied LLM Engineer. You'll work directly with founders to design, build, and scale production ML systems powering real-world applications. This is true 0→1 ownership—solving hard problems with technical judgment and pragmatism.

What you'll do

* Build production ML systems: pipelines, low-latency inference, RAG

* Fine-tune/train LLMs (LLaMA, Mistral, T5) using LoRA/QLoRA, instruction tuning

* Create parsing/extraction models for HTML/structured data where general LLMs struggle

* Own full ML lifecycle: data → evaluate → deploy → optimize

* Make smart calls on fine-tuning vs RAG vs agents vs non-ML solutions

* Partner with product/engineering to ship features and mentor juniors

What we're looking for

* 10+ years ML/applied AI experience

* Production ML deployment (PyTorch/TensorFlow)

* Hands-on LLM work: fine-tuning, RAG, agent workflows

* Strong judgment: ML vs simpler solutions

* Python fluency + modern ML infra (feature stores, vector DBs)

* Startup comfort: ambiguity, end-to-end ownership

Nice to have

* Domain-specific model training

* Personalization/search/recommendation systems

* Early-stage startup experience

* Privacy-sensitive data work
