The Role

* Build large scale optimisation models using Gurobi and OR Tools.

* Develop decision systems that incorporate ML forecasts and operate under complex business constraints.

* Improve solver performance, workflows, and runtime efficiency.

* Translate commercial requirements into scalable optimisation frameworks.

* Partner with ML engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deploy optimisation systems into production.

* Lead scenario modelling to support strategic planning.

* Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers within the optimisation space.

Your Skills and Experience

* Strong commercial experience designing and deploying optimisation systems using Gurobi or OR Tools.

* Expertise in mathematical optimisation or operations research supported by an advanced academic background.

* Strong programming capability in Python and Java.

* Experience building optimisation engines that integrate with ML model outputs.

* Ability to explain complex optimisation concepts to varied stakeholders.

* Comfortable solving optimisation challenges within dynamic and fast changing environments.
