Senior Lead AI Engineer

The Role

* Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance customer interactions and internal operations.

* Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, large language model inference, and related systems.

* Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.

* Invent and implement state-of-the-art LLM optimisation techniques to improve the performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of large-scale production AI systems.

* Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.

* Stay abreast of the latest AI research and apply novel techniques in production environments.

What You'll Need

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related field with at least 6 years of experience in AI/ML development, or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience.

* At least 6 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.

* Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

* Demonstrated ability to design, develop, integrate, deliver, and support complex AI systems.

* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts.

* Passion for building robust systems and a commitment to quality and innovation in the AI space.
