As the Lead for LLMOps, you will spearhead the development, deployment, and operationalization of large language model-based solutions. You’ll guide a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, manage the lifecycle of LLM applications, and ensure scalable, secure, and responsible AI implementations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Leadership

* Define and drive the vision for LLMOps within the organization.

* Collaborate with product and tribe leads to align LLM capabilities with business goals.

* Lead pre-sales and proposal efforts for LLM-based solutions.

* Technical Delivery

* Architect and implement end-to-end LLM workflows including fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

* Establish best practices for model governance, CI/CD pipelines, and responsible AI.

* Oversee integration of LLMs with enterprise systems and APIs.

* Team Management

* Build and mentor a high-performing team of ML engineers and AI specialists.

* Allocate resources effectively across global delivery backlogs.

* Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

* Partnerships & Ecosystem

* Develop strategic partnerships with platforms like Hugging Face, LangChain, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Stay abreast of emerging tools and frameworks in generative AI and LLMOps.

Qualifications:

* Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or related field.

* 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in LLMOps or generative AI.

* Proven track record of deploying LLMs in production environments.

* Deep understanding of NLP architectures (Transformers, RNNs, CNNs).

* Experience with LangChain, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and containerized workflows.

* Strong grasp of cloud-native tools and MLOps frameworks.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $120,000 - $145,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
