Wepoint is seeking a Senior Software Developer specialized in Generative & Agentic AI to lead the integration of intelligence into our clients’ solutions. You won’t just be calling APIs; you will design and build custom agentic systems that can reason, act, and scale. Our focus is on production grade AI systems that deliver real business value.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build end-to-end GenAI systems using RAG, context engineering, and agentic workflows and patterns.

* Architect and maintain evaluation pipelines to assess accuracy, reliability, and safety over time

* Optimize retrieval pipelines, embeddings, and context management.

* Implement guardrails against prompt injection, data leakage, and unsafe outputs

* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI systems into real world applications

* Generously share your generative AI expertise with the team.

Requirements

* Hands-on experience building GenAI applications (RAG, agents, tool calling)

* Strong hands-on experience with at least one GenAI framework like LangChain, LlamaIndex or equivalent.

* Strong to expert-level Python experience in production systems.

* Experience designing and operating retrieval pipelines, including SQL-backed data and vector databases.

* Strong understanding of system evaluation, metrics, and failure modes

* Experience deploying AI workloads on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP)

* Strong software engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, code reviews, architecture, Docker)

* BILINGUAL - Excellent communication skills in French and English. English is required, as the position involves communicating with clients and partners located outside Quebec.

Nice-to-have

* Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers

* Experience working in a multidisciplinary product team

* C#/.NET experience in production environments.

* Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts
