Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Senior Generative AI Developer with strong Python skills to join our team and drive innovation in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and deploying AI solutions, particularly in the realm of generative models, to enhance banking operations, customer experience, and risk management.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD$110k -CAD$130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and implement advanced generative AI models using Python and relevant frameworks.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions in banking.

* Optimize and fine-tune AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

* Deploy and monitor AI applications in cloud and on-premises environments.

* Ensure compliance with banking regulations and data privacy standards.

* Stay updated with the latest AI research and integrate innovative techniques into solutions.

* Document technical specifications and provide training/support to end-users.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

* 7+ years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on generative models.

* Expertise in Python, with hands-on experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

* Deep understanding of natural language processing, computer vision, or related generative techniques.

* Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred skills:

* Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.

* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

* Familiarity with data security and privacy protocols in banking.
