The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to sit at the core of their product and AI development function. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where your models will directly influence clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
You will help design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning systems, with a strong emphasis on digital twin modelling and simulation-based healthcare intelligence.
Key responsibilities include:
· Building and deploying end-to-end machine learning models using Python, SQL, and Azure
· Developing digital twin and simulation-based models of patient health trajectories
· Designing and implementing synthetic data generation approaches
· Contributing to AI-driven clinical decision support systems
· Working closely with clinicians to translate complex medical data into actionable insights
· Supporting productionization of models using modern cloud infrastructure (Azure / Microsoft AI Foundry)
Your Experience
Our client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with strong production experience and a background in complex modelling environments.
You will ideally bring:
· Strong experience building and deploying production ML models
· Advanced Python and SQL skills
· Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms (AWS / GCP also considered)
· Exposure to digital twins, simulation modelling, or systems-based ML approaches
· Experience with synthetic data generation or causal / mechanistic modelling (highly desirable)
· Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments (preferred)
· Healthcare, clinical, or life sciences experience is a plus but not essential
· Must be based in the United States
· Must hold US citizenship or Green Card (no visa sponsorship available)
