Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects for one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands, contributing to the development of scalable data and infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and thrives in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain scalable data and infrastructure solutions

* Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

* Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions

* Translate business needs into robust technical implementations

* Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems

* Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes

* Provide clear insights into technical decisions and their business value

Job requirements

* Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

* Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform

* Solid background in data engineering and infrastructure design

* Experience working in product-driven environments

* Ability to work independently in a remote setup
