🎯 The RoleAs a Data Vault Expert, you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business, helping our clients turn complexity into clarity and insights into impact.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment and contribute to projects that drive performance, innovation, and sustainable growth.

📍 Job location: Portugal - Remote

🕒 Contract type: Fixed-term Employee Contract or B2B

🗓 Target start date: April

⏰ Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)

💵 Compensation: B2B 300euros to 400euros per day / Fixed-term - 50k to 60k

💥 Your ImpactIn This Role, You Will

* Design and implement data pipelines that integrate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) into an existing enterprise data platform

* Extend and maintain a Data Vault 2.0 architecture (Raw Vault, Business Vault, and Information Mart layers)

* Develop data transformations using dbt within a Databricks Lakehouse environment

* Build persistent staging and ingestion pipelines to address operational system data retention limitations

* Integrate data from multiple operational and reference sources to enable consolidated cross-system reporting

* Contribute to the creation of scalable Information Marts that support high-frequency analytical reporting

* Follow and enhance existing automation frameworks and development standards used in the platform

* Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and future-ready

* Contribute to designing architectures that can evolve from batch ingestion to real-time data processing

⚡ What Makes This Role Challenging

* You will work within a complex enterprise data ecosystem, integrating data from multiple operational systems with different structures and retention policies

* The project requires extending an existing Data Vault 2.0 architecture while maintaining strict modelling standards

* The platform must support high-frequency reporting needs while preparing for future real-time data processing

* You will work with modern technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, and dbt, while ensuring alignment with existing platform frameworks

* The environment requires balancing technical rigour, scalability, and delivery speed

👤 What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

* Proven experience working with Data Vault 2.0 modelling

* Strong experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake

* Hands-on experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation

* Strong SQL and data modelling skills

* Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integrating multiple source systems

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* A collaborative mindset and sense of ownership

* Fluency in English

* Fluency in English

* Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal

Nice-to-haves

* Experience with Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake

* Knowledge of streaming data architectures (e.g., Databricks Structured Streaming or Kafka)

* Experience working with data warehouse automation frameworks

* Experience implementing enterprise data warehouse or lakehouse architectures

* Exposure to international or multicultural projects

* Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments

Final offers are based on experience, autonomy, scope, and market context, and are discussed transparently during the process.
