Subsets (YC S23) is an early-stage startup building the future of AI-driven subscription growth. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll join the early team building the future of subscription lifecycle management, helping brands create audiences, run experiments, and optimize how messaging impacts churn, retention, upsell and more!

What You Will Do

* work directly with the founding team and our software engineers.

* design, develop, and manage our scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

* monitor and optimize our current data pipelines (we are moving a lot of data!).

* work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact on the product and assume numerous responsibilities.

* bring your opinions and experiences on how to scale our current setup from 10+ customers to 100+ customers.

Tech stack: Python, SQL, dbt, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, GCP, Docker, Terraform.

You don't need to know everything - we value strong fundamentals and learning velocity.

You may be a good fit if

* you have a strong background in data engineering (with a software engineering lean) and hands-on experience building robust data pipelines.

* you worked with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar before.

* you have experience in modeling data to be consumed by machine learning pipelines.

* you have an analytical mindset that thrives in fast-paced, loosely defined environments.

* you have an "anti-meeting" culture mindset and value focused work time.

* you prefer a primarily in-office way of working

Compensation Range: $115K - $160K
