You’ll work within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment and play a key role in shaping how data flows across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement modern ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, and related AWS services to replace legacy systems

* Architect data transformation workflows that are scalable, testable, version-controlled, and observable

* Optimize and maintain Redshift data warehouse performance, including query tuning, materialized views, and cost management

* Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to build data models that support reporting, AI/ML initiatives, and customer-facing applications

* Establish and promote best practices, standards, and reusable patterns for data pipeline development

* Support production data systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response

Required Qualifications

* Strong expertise with AWS Glue (PySpark/Python), Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift

* Proven experience migrating ETL workloads from legacy platforms (e.g., SSIS, stored procedures) to modern cloud-native architectures

* Advanced SQL skills, particularly within columnar or MPP databases like Redshift

* Experience with data pipeline orchestration, monitoring, and error-handling frameworks

* Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with Aurora MySQL or other relational databases

* Exposure to real-time or streaming data technologies (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka, MQTT)

* Background working with IoT, metering, or utility-related data

* Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow, or AWS Step Functions

Why Join Our Client
