Your expertise will be pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring our clients maximize the value of their data assets. You will work closely with client business stakeholders, data analysts, data architects, and data scientists to ensure that the data consumer needs are met and that data pipelines are designed in an efficient and durable way adhering to best practices. This role will require expertise across multiple ETL/ELT tools, and DataOps methodologies with Snowflake as the primary DW. Additionally, the need for experience and expertise with data streaming and CDC solutions and tools will increase as our customers continue to modernize their data pipelines. You’ll be joining a team that is passionate about developing data-centric solutions and products that create new value streams and experiences for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with 7Rivers’ technical team and clients to design, implement, and manage scalable big data solutions and cloud data warehouses across Snowflake deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

* Develop, test, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and delivery to various data consumers.

* Integrate DataOps practices, promoting automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for data pipelines, and fostering a collaborative environment.

* Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Python, and other ‘big data’ technologies.

* Build analytics tools to support data quality and usability across data stages.

   Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on big data and cloud data warehousing solutions (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).

* Strong expertise with Snowflake data warehouse and data lake environments.

* Proficient in Modern Data Stack ETL/ELT tools like FiveTran, dbt, Matillion.

* Deep understanding of DataOps principles, with experience in tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for data pipeline CI/CD.

* Solid understanding of data modeling, data structures, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

* Experience in optimizing and tuning cloud data pipelines and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and address complex data challenges.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

* SnowPro Core certification is highly desirable, or the ability to obtain once aboard.
