Senior Data Analyst

Your Responsibilities:

* Analyse large datasets of email security telemetry to uncover detection patterns, false positives/negatives, emerging threats, and behavioural anomalies.

* Use AI assisted analytics and automation tools to accelerate investigations and model evaluations.

* Spot gaps or deterioration in detection rules, logic, and configuration patterns—and recommend concrete improvements.

* Produce clear, accessible insights that empower Customer Success teams to demonstrate value and proactively address concerns.

* Build intuitive self-service dashboards and automated reporting (Snowflake, Tableau, etc.) to monitor detection efficacy across customer segments.

* Prepare structured performance summaries for cross functional retention and product improvement meetings.

* Validate engineering changes by comparing pre/post release performance using statistical and behavioural metrics.

* Create consistent frameworks for analysing customer submitted examples and supporting repeatable evaluation processes.

* Support ML operations workflows, including experiment tracking, metrics stewardship, version control, and model registry management in MLflow.

Your Story:

We’d love to hear from you if you bring:

* 6+ years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, ideally within cyber security, detection data, or threat telemetry environments.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, with hands-on experience in SQL and Python.

* Experience working with detection data, threat telemetry, or security focused datasets.

* A talent for interpreting complex issues and communicating them clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

* Understanding of key email security concepts (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, header analysis, message flows).

* Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, metrics, parameters, evaluations, and model registry governance.

* Comfort operating within cross functional engineering, product, or customer environments.

It’s a bonus (not a requirement) if you also have:

* Experience with BI tools (Snowflake, Looker, Tableau).

* Knowledge of phishing behaviours and attacker evasion techniques.

* Exposure to security tooling in the IT channel or MSSP ecosystem.
