This is a senior, customer-facing cloud architecture role focused on designing and delivering advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions on AWS within complex, multi-cloud environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding organizations through the full lifecycle of AI/ML adoption—from discovery and architecture design to deployment, optimization, and production-scale operations. Working within a global forward-deployed engineering context, you will help translate business challenges into secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures. This role blends deep hands-on technical execution with strategic influence, enabling you to shape both customer outcomes and internal best practices. You will also play a key role in transforming one-off AI/ML solutions into reusable architectural patterns that drive broader product and platform evolution. This is a high-impact opportunity for an expert architect passionate about GenAI, cloud-native systems, and real-world production AI at scale.

Accountabilities

* Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of production-grade ML and GenAI solutions on AWS across full data, training, inference, and integration pipelines.

* Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures aligned with customer objectives.

* Serve as a technical advisor across customer engagements, from proof-of-value through production deployment and optimization.

* Design and promote reusable AI/ML architectural patterns, turning field learnings into scalable “gravel road” solutions.

* Partner with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to support adoption, expansion, and successful delivery outcomes.

* Drive AI/ML solution quality through best practices in observability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

* Contribute to product evolution by sharing insights from customer implementations and influencing roadmap priorities.

* Support both pre-sales (field engineering) and post-sales (delivery) motions depending on business needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience architecting and deploying cloud-based AI/ML solutions in production environments, with strong expertise in AWS. You have hands-on experience with services such as Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, including model training, fine-tuning, deployment, and evaluation of LLMs and generative AI systems. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures is essential, along with experience building end-to-end ML workflows using services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and EKS. You understand MLOps practices, including CI/CD for AI systems, monitoring, governance, and model lifecycle management. Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and experience with data engineering tools is required. You bring strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in multi-cloud environments and collaborating across sales, product, and engineering teams is highly valued.
