Job Title - Senior Chatbot/Voice Enablement Developer

Job Location - Remote, Harrisburg, PA

Work hours: Standard EST work hours / East coast US time zone is desired for US resources because many of the Development resources are in central Europe or India. We will need overlap at the beginning of the day with those teams.

Must work EST time zone hours

You will be successful in this role if you have:

* 5+ years’ experience in software engineering with 3+ years in conversational AI (chat and voice).

* Expertise in Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, LLM/NLU orchestration, Vector DB´s and whisper/voice models and familiarity with WebRTC services

* Strong backend development skills (Python,C# , REST APIs).

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and security best practices.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What success looks like in this role:

* Design and develop enterprise-grade chatbot and voice solutions using Azure Bot Service, Power Virtual Agents and integrations (e.g. Genesys, Twilio, Microsoft Teams).

* Implement and optimize LLM pipelines, ASR/TTS for voice bots, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for knowledge-driven responses.

* Integrate conversational systems with Unisys platforms (CRM, ITSM, security solutions) via APIs and event-driven architectures.

* Ensure compliance and security, including PII protection, encryption, and adherence to global standards (GDPR, accessibility).

* Monitor and improve performance through analytics, A/B testing, and continuous optimization of containment rate, latency, and CSAT.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams; mentor junior developers and establish best practices.
