Role Description

This is a full-time, role for a Senior AI Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area(may accept Remote). The Senior AI Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI systems, focusing on areas like pattern recognition,LLMs, RAG Systems, natural language processing (NLP), and neural networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring scalability and efficiency of software solutions, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

* Strong expertise in Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP)

* Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

* Knowledge of RAG Systems, LLMs, Agentic Workflows and Agent skills.

* Hands-on experience with Software Development, including proficiency in frameworks and programming languages such as Python, Java, and TensorFlow or PyTorch

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and actively solve complex technical problems

* Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

* Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

* Previous experience building and deploying scalable AI applications in production is a bonus

* Familiarity with AI ethics, data security, and responsible AI practices is an advantage

What You Bring

* 4+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years with LLMs

* Strong Python skills and experience with at least one LLM framework (LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy)

* Experience deploying RAG systems in production

* Comfort with ambiguity and fast iteration

* Bonus: experience in insurance, healthcare, or service industries
